I agree, he has always reminded me to a degree of a smaller Gene Fullmer. Loved the Hatton years and the excitement he brought to boxing in the modern era for me
Both were open to counter hooks so I think it would be close, but Pryor seemed more durable, I don`t think Hatton could have taken Arguello`s best shots.
He wasn't an " unbeatable Monster" but what most posters think and I agree is Hatton wasn't on prime Pryors level.
He offered Pryor the fight and Pryor turned it down because of his contract situation with Buddy LaRosa … as he did with SRL ..
Everyone was Hatton mad in the UK. I remember my mum and stepdad waking me up to watch the Mayweather fight, they weren't even in to boxing.
I always thought Roberto would have killed Pryor, can you imagine Aaron storming out and attacking Duran at 140? When Pryor goes down in the 1st round this time he'd be hurt.
