Tyson beats Holmes anytime past 1983, Frazier any time except FOTC. Foreman in the 80s and late 90s (Mike couldn't have taken George's power early 90s imo).

Mike would have been knocked silly by Joe Louis up until Joe got old (and we both probably know when that was).

When we start talking Joe Louis, we're talking about a boxing God who only the 60s Ali could beat imo. Joe was the all around fighting machine, at times stunningly perfect....I think he would have even TKO'd Larry in his prime (and decisioned 60s and early 70s Ali).

Again, this is coming from a totally biased old school fool, so forgive me for the intrusion lol.

personally i think its academic. If either man hits ya clean its goodnight regardless of who carries more kilojoules per sq ounce or whatever **** they use to quantify punchpower

They were both incredible punchers!! George "The Refrigerator" and Mike "The Whiplash".

I agree. MIke did have that freeky snap to his punches. I think it was Mike's amazing hand speed that surprised the yee-haw out of Larry and ultimately spelled the old man's doom (Larry was doing a great job keeping Mike at bay until he got scrambled by a shot he didn't see coming).

George really was like a refrigerator that could put on boxing gloves and punch. Even if you blocked George's punches you were hurtin' for certain.

Did you just compare Tyson's destruction over Zouski to Foreman, with a swollen left side, asking the ref to stop the fight because he couldn't knock Zouski down? And is McBride the only example you got, you ****in pud? Just like Foreman ruined Crawford Grimsley, so much so that in Grimsley's very next fight got KO'd in a Guinness Book of World Record 8 seconds to Jimmy Thunder?

We also forgot how Foreman ducked coke aye ee nay Tony Tucker, a rematch with world rated Axel Schulz, and a relinquishing of the belts he miraculously won against a blown up light heavyweight. Every time Foreman stepped up his comp he got his ass handed to him. Poor soul.

Now, idiot, can you see all the losses Foreman's opponents accumulated? Pure definition of padding your record. No one else on here comes close (Joe Louis fought 3 x's the amount that Foreman did). Like I stated before, Tyson's record against ranked opposition is 22-4. Foreman's record against ranked opposition is 7-5.

Without any bias, how is Foreman greater? Because he fought Ali?

At least you admit the bias. Nobody else here can. Boxing fans are the most smug hypocrites in sports. 98% have never gotten into a fight, let alone a ring.

Thomas fought both men. Thomas is the one who said Morrison hit harder.

    Who are you again?

This is a very good comparison.

People think we're hating or calling tyson feather fisted. We're not. I have Tyson as a top 10 hitter of all time, maybe even top 5. But ring side observers, coaches, experts, and people WHO ACTUALLY FOUGHT TYSON all say the same thing: he surprises you with his speed, angles, and timing. Its not just raw power.

Larry Holmes talked about tysons power vs shavers and compared it to being hit with a speeding ferrari vs a slower, ****** truck. Either way you are gonna get laid out but the mechanisms are totally different.

Literally every opponent who fought tyson said the same thing:

Douglas says it wasnt tysons power it was his speed, crouch, and odd angles you had to watch out for.

But wtf does he or Larry Holmes know?

Did Foreman have any losses humiliating as Tyson with Douglas (he couldn't put away David Bey or Dee Collier but left Tinkerbell on the canvas groping for his mouthpiece), Holyfield (hadn't scored a legit stoppage in 5 years including geriatric Foreman but had Tyson stumbling around like a drunken derelict), Lewis ( who can ever forget Tyson gently strokng the sweat off Lewis' face post fight completely emasculated), Williams (oh dear) McBride (LOL)?

I'll answer that for you- NO! In fact imagine Tyson getting dropped to the floor and coming back for a win? You'll have to because every single time he hit the canvas he was stopped. He didn't have the heart or recovery of the true greats to do so.

Tyson got beaten by the best fighters he met and never beat a great fighter in their prime and as such is now an overrated footnote that still gets suckers like you lavishing praise on him and his litany of ordinary conquests and disparaging true greats of the sport. Shows your depth of boxing knowledge and character pathetically worshipping a POS like Tyson whose accomplishments are bettered by so many.

I laugh at people at people like you who buy into this guys hype. You're all the same. Don King took advantage, Robin Givens was a gold digger, Desiree Washington a hussy, Holyfield was dirty...boo hoo! Grow up you ****ing children, which is something your peabrained and hearted hero never did.

Then ran into an arena, full of people, NAKED, thinking Jesus Christ the lawd almighty was coming alive in him...LMFAO!!! Remember that classic? Mark that day down on your calendar because it should be a holiday! THAT WAS ****IN HILARIOUS!!!

What does ANY of that have to do with his post? Are you physically incapable of actually responding to what someone wrote? Tyson has far more embarrassing tabloid anecdotes, you don't want to go there lol. Coke binges, sexual assault, reckless driving, street fights, oh wait, tyson isnt responsible for his own actions he's a victim.

If you wont respond to him, will you respond to my points you keep ducking coward? Try to stay on topic or no one will take you seriously.

It's true, George sure did look one heck of a lot better against Holy. Holy at one point asked his corner if all his teeth were knocked out!

I don't know. From my observation they were different. Mike was hard and fast, but George was just sledgehammer like.
