Wheres the personal insults to him? You maybe because as least Tony imo gives a decent account of his argument Your just a troll and have been since day 1 And i look silly... Please Your post history does that for you
Don’t buy PPV, but did for Taylor as it was worthy, my casual mates sometimes buy aj fights but doubt they will for £25. This is why people have IPTV etc
If you're listening to 5Live's online broadcast (not sure whether this will be licensed for overseas consumption) there will definitely be a lag but even if you could get the radio via airwaves you'd be very lucky for there not to be some sync issue one way or the other I'd have thought with live pictures. This is to do with the various ways each signal undergoes on its way. Depending on where you're watching maybe you could pause the tv till the commentary caught up, but it's probably going to be too much of a faf, I've never been suffiently sober in Amsterdam to attempt such a feat so kudos to you if you manage it... In general though his radio coverage is great although I appreciate it may seem like going back to the steam age. I couldn't say he's perfectly unbiased, he wants the British fighter to win, but he's fair in saying what he sees and Andy Lee who is usually alongside him is a good foil. You'd get a flavour from listening to the Costello and Bunce podcast, they often replay fight commentary there...
Struggle to get a pub in Scotland that bothers with boxing now. Mind the groves Eubanks fight (which was on council telly) was on in the pub and had loads of people in front, but pub where adamant they weren’t showing it caus they had a regular aj in, eventually decide to show it, without sound and due to the hassle put the sound on at first bell. I once asked for a pub to put on a Ricky burns fight in Glasgow city centre and was told “we don’t show that type of thing in here”. Puns won’t pay hundreds of pounds for an aj fight now
The locals have watched Skippy Burns for the past 2 years and I don't blame them for not wanting that fight on.
But his other uk fights have been 20 quid And on at a reasonable time Whats changed for this? Im dying to hear the inevitable IFL spin
There's a few reasons there's uproar over this sudden extra £5 hike: - AJ's PPV prices were only hiked up a couple of years ago after being £15.99 for many years. PPV prices shouldn't have risen again for a long time - AJ lost his last fight. How does a fighter/promoter justify rising his price after being battered? - Everyone wants to see this fight. It's a complete liberty Using Fury/Wallin/Schwartz as an example is silly because we all know that was a joke. It was dismissed as much at the time and nobody bought it. It was laughed at the same way Eubank Jr was on ITV box office. God help us if Fury/Wallin is the PPV yardstick. People actually want to see this fight. That's why there's uproar!
I do wonder if the extra fiver is to pay for Whyte to appear on the card Either that or his solicitors
bloody hell. football mugths are the worst. The average working class football fan probably spends a fair chunk of his wages following his team.
Shocking mate - these top sportsmen can even wipe their arris with £100 notes for the rest of their lives yet still cannot get enough wonga.
