I agree whole heartedly with your assessment. The only thing Crawford has over Pea is power. Until Crawford fights a guy close to Peas level and dominates, I will put my money on the sweet one.

Just for the record, there isn't anyone at 140 to 154 fighting right now on or even close to peas level.

That's no insult to Crawford, I think he is a fantastic fighter but I'd also pick Whitaker to beat Mayweather.

 

DLH lost a lot of big fights, Bud would have thrown more counters than DLH did v Whitaker, not much was landed in that fight at all and Pea was marked up.

 

I don't see any style similarities between them honestly. Very lazy analysis to say bud is basically a bigger version of pea. Can't for the life me see how you came to that conclusion. Oscar's resume is also populated with hall of fame caliber opposition, most of which were in their prime... Bud hasn't fought anyone anywhere near hall of fame. At this point you aren't even comparing different fruits let alone apples to oranges.
