Let's get the fight week chat started early. I'm looking forward to this. Wilder is much improved in recent times and Ortiz, despite probably being past his best and God knows what age, is a dangerous man when highly motivated.

My prediction is Wilder icing Ortiz in six rounds but Ortiz looks in tremendous shape and it's literally his last chance. Can Ortiz summon one last great performance? It's a possibility.

It's a good scrap lads. First fight was brilliant!

I think Wilder take it more comfortably this time because of his improvement.

Ortiz is now working with Victor Conte which looks dodgy, I think his improved appearance is mainly a cosmetic thing rather than a skills thing.

This is probably true but it makes him a more dangerous man. If he can juice and get away with it, he's only doing what most of the top guys in the sport are doing.

As much as I would like Ortiz to win I see Wilder stopping him inside 3 rounds.

Anyone picking Ortiz is on Crack, he's not winning this fight, I shouldn't need to elaborate. Hook or crook he's "not winning this fight"

    Wilder ko in 6

Pillow fists fury is getting cleaned out next and old man Ortiz isn't getting in the way.

You’ve mentioned several times about the contract which you’re aware of that dictates two further fights between Wilder and Fury.

If Ortiz wins do Wilder and Fury still have a rematch?

Wilder has improved and Ortiz has only gotten older, it’ll be a fun 3 or 4 rounds until wilder stops him again.

I’d love to see an upset though but I just don’t think Ortiz can do it

Wilder to lay Ortiz out via heart pounding KO in 3rd round.

Wilder to be much more aggressive early on in this fight.

Absolutely not. That's the risk both teams have taken!

If we get the 225lb + version of Wilder like against Breazeale then Ortiz gets banged out within 4. However, if it’s the malnourished 209-14lb version like he was against Ortiz in the first fight and for Fury, then it wouldn’t completely shock me if Ortiz got the win.

This as the potential for another great fight. I think it depends on how many rounds Ortiz has in the tank. He’ll know that if he tried to outbox Wilder at a pedestrian pace he’ll not get the decision on the cards. So he’s surely going to have to roll the dice and trade with Wilder. We know he can hurt Wilder so should be a lot of fun.
