No way did McGregor win even 6 rounds, 5 absolute max and then you've got the point deduction... Hope Kash bounces back, that was so harsh. As for the 115-112 card, well you wonder if the judge is bent or a moron.
I had McGregor by one not including the point off. So a draw for me but a lot of the rounds really close. Really good fight but as often with a smaller aggressor the lanky guy has to smother and it detracts a bit from the spectacle
Makes you just want to be done with boxing. I’m Scottish, live roughly between both fighters so had no horse in the race really. Knew a lot more about mcgregor, but seen the last couple of Farooq fights. Didn’t really care who won. But kash won that, the point deduction should have sealed it. It’s a joke.
There needs to be more accountability with scorecards. We all know nothing will be looked into with that card tonight like all the other joke ones this year. The Ohara Davies one a particular highlight. That was a huge fight tonight for the level with big implications going forward, and Farooq has been done. That could put him back 4 or 5 fights from McGregr depending on their next fights. Just a real joke.
Then we all have audacity to question our boxers going abroad because of the "scorecards" Forgetting all the foreigners that come over here and get well and truly roggered
Unbelievable fight. Better fight now than if it was a few years down the road as both are likely to have ironed out some of their weaknesses. Farooq won that fight in my opinion. Credit to both men, put it all on the line and left it all in the ring but no one can tell me that Farooq only won 4 rounds. Thsts what judge was saying if McGregor wasnt deducted a point. I would say Farooq by about 3 rounds.
