I heard Boxers that are their own promoter have a had hard time of getting fights and if they do they are mismatched against a way better opponent why is that ?
Name of the game, if you don’t have the right ppl taking care of you, you’ll end up being the opponent. After been in the game for a long time I think it’s 30/30/30 in skill, hard work and luck. With luck I don’t mean “lucky to win”, I mean lucky to be taking care of by the right ppl, get the right fights at the right time and being healthy. Fighting is a hard profession. Actually, I think the luck portion might be even bigger.
