I know, that's a big gripe of mine. Probably doesnt bother you're casual fans as their unlikely to care what the corner are saying but personally I love to hear the advice.
I think adverts **** everyone off. It’s a bit like estate agency fees when renting a flat, you don’t like them and it pisses you off you’re being ripped off but if you want that flat then you’ve got to suck them up...
Haha, he isn't on there now and has his own that is literally just him talking ****. He can be quite good to listen to but he is constantly reaching for stuff.
I was thinking this as I’ve seen it mentioned a few times. I think most boxing shown on channels with adverts tend to have an advert on between rounds for the first half of the fight, but then not between rounds later on. (I record a lot of fights and watch in the morning, skipping the adverts.) But from memory, I’m not sure if they have adverts on between the rounds on PPV fights. I’ve just checked the recording of the first Joshua Ruiz fight and after the end of round one you hear McCracken in the corner plus Malignaggi offering his thoughts.
They definitely have in recent ppv fights although you’re right, they do tend to ease off in the later rounds.
Wouldn't surprise me if Adam Smith starting advertising products during the rounds. "Wonderfully exhibition of raw power from AJ, speaking of raw power you can now buy the new Nissan Micra for £140 per month with a £100 deposit."
If you are moaning about an extra fiver a Nissan micra is probably one of few cars in your price range Zing
I'll be watching the fight for free. Have a couple of pals coming over for a few cans and I can't wait. They're very much casuals and this is a brilliant fight for the casual boxing fan.
I don't think Anthony Joshua decided it would be an extra five pounds. In fact, at this stage of camp he may not have even been informed of it. Boxers hire management/promotional teams so that they don't have to deal with any of that. Joshua's job is to fight.
