Reece Mould has just been made mandatory for Walsh's British title.
I wonder what walshy is gonna do.
If he takes it, it will be another fight he needs to schedule in the middle of the competition he's already in.
If he doesn't take it, he will have to drop the belt.
Will Walsh feel he can cram another fight in the middle of this tourny? It's more money for him to make!

 

It's the light welterweight quarter finals this Friday with the draw being done tomorrow. Personally hoping to see Benson vs McKenna again. The first fight was a cracker and really close. I'd like to see Benson get the chance to avenge the loss.

 

I am disappointed in this one -- much weaker than the featherweights. Last week two top fighters dropped out and were replaced by british guys who are barely area level.

 

What time is the draw at?

 

If McKenna and O'hara are on opposite sides of the draw they HAVE to choose each other!!

Medical grounds apparently, he has retired from boxing despite saying he is able to compete.

 

Just seen. Absolutely gutting for the lad. Health is not a gamble worth taking though, hopefully when the dust settles he realises that.
