Well he IS 42 so...I wouldn’t really expect him to go after top guys. My guess is a rematch with Pacquiao which would probably make the most sense economically wise but we’ll have to wait and see... Still though, it’s not the most exciting news...
He won't fight Manny. He will never fight a Porter/Spence/Crawford type. He won't fight in MMA. Won't face Canelo or Golovkin. He has no options. MMA would be the smart move, because... 1) Floyd has already gone past 50-0 in Boxing, so there's no "record" to break. 2) He won't face anyone, and didn't for years, that is remotely "live". 3) The payday, if he doesn't take it now, will never be offered to him again (and it'd be hundreds of millions). I genuinely wish this was the year 2030, just so we don't hear this nonsense. Just stay retired!
If PBF comes out of retirement next year. He will give Pacquiao the rematch and then will kick his ass again.
I hope not... This would be bad for boxing imo. It will be charged 100$ and the fight won't live up to what people would expect for that amount of money.
