Fielding vs Canelo recently surely? Fielding was laughing as he was bending the knee, as if to say "I've got your money now I'm getting out of dodge".
Kevin Mitchell vs Michael Katsidis. In front of a big home crowd at Upton Park, winner to fight for a world title. Katsidis wasn't a pushover but many expected Mitchell to win as he fought big punchers before and had a perfect record going in to it. Mitchell fannys it and gets blasted out in the third. Probably would've fought Marquez next as well.
Non Amazing Alexa Arthur v Gomez Khan v Prescot Haye v Klitschko and Bellew twice Burns v Indongo Frampton and Selby v Warrington Benn v Collins Hughie Fury v Parker and all other fights Joshua v Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr Fraudley - all non Prizefighter fights The list is endless
Clinton Woods v Tarver (losing to Tarver is no disgrace, but Woods' performance disappointed me, he just seemed to freeze and never really went broke even when it was clear he was close to losing his title. All Tarver needed was the one-two. For such a normally entertaining and gutsy fighter it was disappointing given that I gave him a real chance going into the fight).
I disagree. I think to talk all the sh1t that Haye did, have that t-shirt made showing him holding the Klitchko's severed heads and then simply run his way to a one-sided points loss was a real disappointment. Especially given that it was a unification and people were giving him a real chance To me, that's much worse than a lot of the fighters mentioned in this thread, who have just been in over their heads.
This content is protected Wtf was he thinking...carrying on the conversation whilst he standing on a table in flip flops lol
Bellew vs Stevenson... Fought scared in a fight he had a good chance in due to adonis possibly suspect chin Barker vs sturm still pisses me off to this day...con his fans and **** off into the sunset richer... Do I blame him... Probably not.. Hard sport.... But he knew he was injured in that fight
I travelled to that fight and along with 12,000 Brits, we got a bigger poke up the arris in one night than Tony Hayers in his career to date working Canal Street. All he showed was that he was a World Class Conman and the Brits jeered him all the way back to the dressing room giving him some serious abuse. He did not try at all during the fight happy to run all night and into the sunset with the PPV loot. You would have thought the same if you were there mate - professional conman selling £2 rolex watches.
At the time he didn't get much stick for it. Witter wasn't considered world class and Judah was regarded by some as a p4p candidate, so I think most people were just surprised that he didn't get blown away in a few rounds. In retrospect, it was a non-performance, and if it happened a few years later he would have been slaughtered. It rarely gets brought up these days it seems. Most people were just waiting to watch Tyson fight, and with the extracurricular fun and games that happened few people were bothered about the Judah-Witter fight.
Tbf he never had a chance though. I’ve spoken to Pavlik about this in New York and while he say says Lockett had a decent dig he was always going to wipe him away. Ryan Rhodes v a baby Canelo was awful as was that absolute clown Nelson v De Leon.
Bodell/Quarry London and Dunn/Ali Collins/Harding Lloyd/MAB Cowdell/Nelson The last two are a little harsh...
