Notice how you misdirected what we were originally talking about. You never even acknowledged their punch power. Dempsey fought real hard punchers

Walcott was prime and almost as great of a fighter as Tyson. You'd do best not to underrate him. Marciano wasn't even hurt when he was dropped. You are a fool

Muhammad Ali of 1964-1967, Sonny Liston 1960, Joe Frazier 1968, and George Foreman, of 1973.

For every fighter there are a number who could beat them, but the only one I feel quite sure would beat the best version of Tyson is the best version of Holy.

Looking at their two fights, I have a hard time seeing any version of Tyson beating Holy of '93. He was very battle tested, as big and strong as the 96-97 incarnation, but quicker with a better a engine. He could take Mike's punch, outmuscle him, outwork him, outlast him and, ultimately, outfight him.

    Muhammad Ali
    George Foreman
    Evander Holyfield
    Lennox Lewis
    Sonny Liston

I see Joe Louis as having a decent chance too. More toward a pick'em affair.

I'd put Tyson at even money against Ali, Holmes and maybe Liston. He should be favored against everyone else. Louis, Foreman, Lewis, Bowe and Holyfield would be tough to pick against in their prime but I lean towards a prime Tyson over them.

100%. Personally I believe the only lightheavy that has a shot of getting out of the 1st round against Tyson is James Toney

You want to tell me that doughy slobs like Brennan and Firpo hit as hard as Ruddock, Smith, Bruno or even Alex Stewart...?

Please tell me more about how Marciano wasn't human. That's irrefutable logic there, grand pa.

    Joe Louis
    Foreman
    Ali
    Lenny
    Waldo

These could pull the trick... And I'm close to favoring them.

WOW, not sure on all that. Dempsey would have been interesting...I don't know, Mike was just plain bigger and probably just as ferocious.

The rest...Tunney I guess possibly? I dunno, Tunney would have gotten hit sooner or later and Mike hit harder than Dempsey.
