Ryder giving him - like he does everyone tbf - all sorts of trouble.

He's a handful and Smith is not enjoying this at all.

Smiths hands are dropping, he is breathing a little heavier, these bodyshots are working.

This fight is just confirming to me that Smith is a basic boxer benefitting from being a huge weight bully.

    Some great exchanges here.

Skillz, I like how Ryder slips that jab and get inside the pocket.

Regardless of what happens, many of you were hammering @CST80 for picking Ryder before the fight.

Put some respect on his name, this is a very very tough fight for Smith, Ryder doesn't look anything like a 10-1 underdog.

    Round 1 Smith 10-9, close
    Round 2 Ryder 10-9, close
    Round 3 Smith 10-9
    Round 4 Ryder 10-9
    Round 5 Ryder 10-9

Another solid Ryder round. He landed the heavier shots, Smith fought back late, but not enough.

Ryder is winning this by being smart. Catching shots, controlling range and raiding with shots when Smith gets complacent

Agreed, he has decent pedegree, decent amateur and a good pro. However, a p4p fighter should body him. Imagine prime Kova.

The red headed cherry picker is licking his lips watching this fight.

    Bank on Canelo-Smith in May.
