    Smith getting Ryder a bit more here. Ryder does better when he is closer to stifle Smith.

    Ryder doesn't win this on the scorecards either way. I have it 5-0 but close rounds. Liked Ryders clean work. Like smith this round.

    Yeah, he wouldn't beat Canelo. Smith just isn't an elite level operator. He would've lost badly against the Calzaghe, Kessler, and Froch crop.

    Gallagher's method of getting his fighters to just stand in front of his opponent with a high guard when he's throwing, and waiting for the punches to stop before returning fire - apart from being way too basic for world level fighters - makes no sense when Smith is 6ft 3ins and could lean back over his back leg with a less rigid guard and see the punches coming.

    This fight is closer than it needed to be....
