Luis Ortiz is probably the #2 or #3 at HW right now

I know I started a thread about Luis becoming WBC HW champ, which didn't age well.

But this guy's skillset is amazing. He dominated every second of the fight until Wilder landed that amazing rocket of a right hand.

Ortiz looked fast, very accurate and made Wilder look like a fool.

He said he won't retire after the fight, and I believe it's the right choice. Even at his advanced age (all jokes aside), I still believe the top guys will duck him and avoid him like the plague.

If you see what kind of issues a limited southpaw like Wallin caused to Fury, it's hard to write Ortiz off against Tyson. Based on yesterday's performance, I believe Ortiz would put a beating on Joshua and his counter punching style might favour him over Ruiz. If you don't have a right hand like Wilder, you are in for a very very tough night.

Why did they keep him under the radar for so long? With the right management, he could have been a nightmare for either Klitschko in his prime.

Because he outboxed Wilder? Should we have Washington at 4 and Spilka at 5 then?

Based on what? It tells you more about Wilder than Ortiz. He has been average in his other fights and because he dominates Wilder he’s top three? Do me a favor

    Nope.

His ship has sailed, he became a bogeyman off the back of beating washed up heavyweights and Jennings.

Id pick the following to beat him.

    Ruiz
    AJ
    Usyk
    Fury
    Povetkin
    Hunter
    Hzgovic

I have honesty never seen anything from Ortiz that validates the hype. He's fought well in 2 fights against Wilder but has been laid out in both. He's a myth.

Only Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Ruiz, Povetkin, Whyte can can challenge Ortiz.

Pulev would lose for sure, Kownacki probably too. Parker has fast hands and legs but against such a southpaw and technician I don't favor him. Not really sure about Chisora and Miller as both are crafty guys. Usyk would be an interesting fight, maybe in favor of the younger. And Oscar Rivas? He aint that much of a puncher like Wilder and Ortiz would land more than enough to stop him.

I remember Joe Joyce calling our Ortiz a year. I guess he'll rethink that.

His denture...is shaky. Did you see when he was KOed he was trying to fix it ? Hes old...but I think he and Povetkin can still kick some more ass.
