Ortiz wasn't chopped down till the KO. Wilder couldn't tire him.

It was not a monstrous right in the end. I don't understand why it destroyed Ortiz so overwhelmingly.

We all saw in post fight press conference, Ortiz's face was untouched like a baby.

    This match should be investigated.

    It was THUNDEROUS.

Theres ringside footage of it that shows how destructive it looked.

Did you not see his eyes after the knockdown? Ortiz was hurt.

Fair question by the OP, imo.

The punch Ortiz got hit with didn't look particularly damaging on initial viewing. As compared with what Breazeale got hit with, by way of contrast. And for the sake of the integrity of the sport, it's important to ask such questions should suspicions be raised.

As the Captain has pointed out in response though, the replay clearly shows the true force of the blow & the catastrophic impact it had on Ortiz.

So good question, well asked, but the answer is no.

You have to be stupid. It was a knockout punch. Just look at the replay, the impact, the back of Oritz' head and his neck. The punch went through his whole body.

They should handing out bans to anyone asking about dives. It's conspiracy theory garbage and drags down the quality of the board.

Was it any significantly harder than the bomb Shavers landed on Holmes? Wilder is a murderous puncher, but I think to an extent there is some mass hysteria about his power.
