How did Bermane Stiverne take Wilder's best for 12 rounds in the 1st fight?

Yup ,probably the most hurt put on Stiverne was the rope burns on the fat Toads back...his pride was certainly not hurt at all...

2nd round. Stiverne went down off a right hand and should have had a KD called against him.

He did hurt him. Even knocked him down but the ref ruled it a slip (when they got tangled up and Stiverne wobbled to his feet in one of the earlier rounds. Stivern's got a good chin though, and was able to weather the storm.

Only fighter to never get seriously hurt by Wilder was Duhaupas.

That was at the very end of rd 2 where Wilder managed to hurt Stiverne and started his windmilling, but since they both went down as Stiverne tried to hold for dear life, Weeks opted not to call a KD, but Stiverne can still be seen getting up very slowly and visibly hurt.

Notice the two bottles of liquids a member of Team Stiverne is holding in his hands at the weigh in and then forward to after Stiverne has stepped on the scales and watch how he takes one off of him so he can rehydrate himself. A HW needs to rehydrate themselves?? lol That's because he spent the last few weeks of camp in the sauna desperately trying to lose weight.

****ing pathetic when you have to create a alt just to hate on a fighter. Be a man and post from your real account.

    Because Stiverne was younger then.

Wilder usually fights old men (or slow boxers) for a reason. Old men slow down, and punch resistance generally becomes weaker as a fighter gets old.

Oh yes he was hurt. He was going down in the early rounds, but then decided that he'd do a little football/bootleg MMA improv... and "tackled" Wilder on his way to the canvas. Berman was lucky the round ended shortly after that. Watch the fight again and you will see.

It's also 100% confirmed that Wilder broke his hand early in that fight.

stiverne was a hard hard man. But after he took everything that night he wasnt nearly the same fighter when he got back in the ring IMO

His hand might have been broken but I recall him throwing it with full power throughout the fight anyway. Stiverne stayed up for 12 rounds after taking serious punishment. He might been somewhat hurt here and there but not seriously.

He probably saw those other punches coming and reacted to either partially deflect or else role with them. Can't do that with the one that comes seemingly out of nowhere.
