Agree although Gallagher is usually very sensitive/grumpy/bit of a tool and thinks he's a much better coach than he is.

 

the "grown men crying" are boxing fans that just want fair fights which seems a big ask these days. If Smith had been given it by a round it would be a case of ok i disagree but fair enough. The extremely wide scorecards clearly show bias.

The more we get cards like this the more boxing as a sport suffers.

This wasn't 3 judges not sharing a few people's opinion, this was 3 judges WIDELY going against about 99 percent of consensus opinion to the home fighter. It was 100 percent a robbery.

 

Gallagher is simply a ****.

Matchroom fighters are almost impossible to beat on the cards. AJ wins every round no matter what happens. Saunders was ahead on two cards v Coceres before the stoppage. Crolla got a gift. Smith gets a wide points win? That's just a few quick examples off the top of my head.

It's sad to see in the sport and very unappealing for foreign fighters coming over. Obviously matchroom aren't the only culprits here but they're the biggest and best promotional outfit in Britain.

I'd like to see a few journalists highlight the issue because it's just wrong. Ryder clearly worked his socks off, put in a career best performance and not only did he get an awful decision, he's not even going to get a rematch. No man deserves that treatment. The same can be said for Persoon.

 

The judging situation is shocking tbh and nothing is done about them because they are scapegoats for everyone to shift blame and deflect criticisms on.they are just faces or names to most but they are key in every bs decision that happens.

 

Not true about persoon. Katie won fair and square and despite this she has said publicly and frequently that she will rematch persoon. Totally different to the way Ryder is being treated in fairness.

 

I've followed Katie since the amateurs and I don't believe she won that fight. She's lost a lot of my repect until she does rematch persoon. Majority of people scored the fight for Persoon.
