I recently watched Bob Foster and D-ck Tiger again and had forgotten that Foster had a 79 to 71 inch reach advantage in that fight. That wasn't as big as Hearns 78 to 67 inch advantage over Duran. Are there any larger reach differences in recent memory? I'm sure that big lumox Valuev had some great advantages
Funny, I watched Foster-Tiger about 3 nights ago. I watch it at least once a year. Foster had one piston of a jab.
Louis vs Marciano (8") Liston vs Patterson (13") Sharkey vs Walker (9") Carnera vs Loughran (12") Hatton vs Mayweather (7") Tyson vs Lewis (13") Holyfield vs Qawi (7") Duran vs Barkley (8") Walcott vs Furguson (14") LaMotta vs Marshall (8") Joshua vs Ruiz (8") Benitez vs Hearns (8") Tendler vs Kansas (7") Wills vs Gunboat Smith: (12") And finally (this one is just absurd) Fred Fulton vs Bartley Madden (15")
Bobby Czyz fought at heavyweight and only had like a 68 inch wingspan, and beat 19-0 Richard Jackson. It has Jackson's height as 6'1 but no reach measurement on boxrec.
I immediately went to Julius Long's boxrec page. Well played. I suspect Long-Paul Nutall is somewhere around 18".
