I take Conteh by lopsided decision. Tiger was a blown up light heavy IMO. Thoughts?

A smart Conteh would imitate a trombone player and breeze to a comfortable decision win.

Conteh by decision, long as he sticks to his game.

John Conteh by unanimous decision over D. Tiger. Conteh would fight Tiger like he fought Jorge Ahumada, on Oct 1 1974, in London. in winning the vacant WBC World Light Heavyweight Title, vacated by the retirement of Bob Foster. John would stick Tiger with the left, peppering often the face of his adversary. He would tag Tiger with swift combinations as Tiger waded in to throw his devastating punches.

To be honest Tiger fought at 175lbs age 37 - 40 years old and never outweighed more than 168lbs.

So his reign was when he was ancient.

He was outsized/out reached and outweighed during this division.

Only knocked once by ATG Bob Foster in his entire career at age 37, died of cancer 3 years later. And during his later years of boxing, was pretty depressed with his ethnic group (Igbo) civil war in Nigeria and was only allowed in Nigeria (even though viewed as an enemy due to his Igbo heritage who was fighting to secede from Nigeria) visa to come back to Nigeria.

No point pitting this ancient Tiger in a 175lbs fantasy match up to be honest.

Conteh UD15 ala Yaqui Lopez bout.

Yeah, Tiger is a guy who could have really benefited from a super middleweight division being around back then. He was built like a tank at 160, but was way too small for 175.

Conteh would have won a clear UD.
