I made a similar thread about Canelo, now I'm curious to know people's thoughts on Wilder as an entertaining fighter. In terms of his style and replay value do you find Wilder an exciting or boring fighter? Do you usually find his fights fun to watch in general?

He's 50/50 with me, honestly. His KOs are great to look at but overall I find his style to be ugly to watch but the possibility of a KO happening at any moment even when he's losing a fight is what makes him an edge of your seat fighter.

His style in general is ugly and somewhat boring to watch because he waits for the right time to unleash. It's edge of your seat because anything can happen, but that's only when we don't know what the result is going to be.
Other than a highlight reel KO I usually don't bother going back to watch his fights in full.

    exciting for sure.

I don't like the dude at all, and think his behavior and stupid yelling is annoying, but he is exciting non the less.
Disappointment aside when I was watching his last fight, it's what you come to expect from him. Getting outboxed down the stretch, and then suddenly stretching out his opponent. The scorecards afterwards are always a treat too, as you know in advance he wasn't as far behind on the official scorecards as he should be.

    exciting to watch

but it gets boring when they are schooling him waiting for the ko to come

    so its 50/50 i guess

this past of wilder and ortiz i was entertained the first two rounds although i kept waking up and falling asleep between rounds , i do not know if it was because ortiz was schooling him that bad and i found it boring wilder being unable to get him out of there until the 7th . it could be that or maybe because they wait so damn long to put on the good fights til the last minute

As Ive stated before, not a Wilder fan BUT.........he is exciting! Im not a fan of his trash talk, I think he crosses the "line" with some comments. Mainly saying he wants a body. Too many youngsters are passing away due to this beautiful yet deadly game. Not a smart thing to say IMO. But the guy is exciting. You know when Wilder is in the ring, someone is getting KOed. His technique and awkwardness isnt anything to write home about but with that power he always has a way out if in trouble on the cards

Silly thread if you ask me.

How can you find someone who can end a fight at any moment meaning you can't blink boring...

Wilder is entertaining fighter, his choice of opponents is boring. Needs to be fighting the top guys like Ruiz, AJ, Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Pulev and Hunter.

Both, his style is boring, throws a 1-2 one hundred times a fight.
On the other hand he is exciting because you’re always on the edge of your seat, you watch him lose round after round but you still know that one of them right hands can end the fight at any moment regardless of how badly he is getting outboxed

His style isn't pleasant to watch and he only fights one way, which can be boring to sit through while waiting for the big shot to happen. You literally try to stay up to not miss his KO when nothing is happening.

I would probably watch more of his fights in full if he showed better punch variety in his arsenal, threw punches in combinations, or had nice boxing movement. But, as is, the only thing he's got going for him is that right hand bomb and an occasional windmill moment, but nothing else which is not enough for me. He's mostly exciting only once during his next fights before anyone knows what the end result is going to be.

He is 80% boring and 20% exciting due to his 1 punch KO power.

In a nutshell though, he bores the hell outa me. Im not watching Boxing for KOs.

He's definitely not boring. That's part of the frustration with him being still such a small draw.

Exciting. He’s literally the guy that can change a fight with one punch.
