Let's put it like this. If there was a (very short) list of guys that could KO Hagler at MW, JJ would be on it. Anybody can get KO'd. It's what Hagler would do to the guys trying to do that, that they should worry about.
No, he might get buzzed briefly like he did vs Hearns if Jackson lands flush but Hagler was about as close to unKOable as is possible. I vaguely remember during his career he was found to have a thicker skull than the average man which would explain a lot.
Well anyone can be kod, it's a certain few avoided it through their careers. Marvin took his lumps against a few heavy hitters and came out with out been kod, could he do it against JJ?.. I reckon Jackson would at least rock him somepoint, that'd be be if he can avoid being destroyed himself! Going by Hagler record, id say he avoid s being stopped, if he was itd be on a bad cut but actually being unable to continue. No is my guess.
The debate should be, does Jackson's chin hold up long enough for The Hawk to strike? I cannot see Jackson lasting more than half a dozen rounds, and in that time it is unlikely he cracks Hagler's jaw.
No .Mugabe hearns and sibson couldn't shift him .Jackson hit hard but was a limited fighter apart from that .Hagler would destroy him early
Dunno how much you can read into what happens in sparring. Marciano was dropped in sparring by Toxey Hall. Ali was dropped by Jimmy Ellis and Eddie Brooks. It's not like Jackson obliterated everyone he touched. He couldn't budge McCallum, probably the closest he faced to Hagler in terms of durability. Of course anything could potentially happen in a ring. Manny Pacquiao could potentially beat Tyson Fury. It's just not very likely.
