Could an angry Joseph "The New Zealand Mike Tyson" Parker be Wilder's kryptonite?

200%, I think Parker beats Wilder rather easily, if a flush fully charged left hook from Whyte didnt KO Parker, I can’t see Wilder knocking Parker out, Wilder lands more big shots than Whyte but I’d say Whyte has the most powerful single punch in the HW division (his left hook), Wilder is close 2nd with his straight right

 

I was typing a thread on this topic as you posted this one... I had the same idea having seen so many posts on who can beat Wilder... It has to be someone that can take Wilder's shots like Duhapuss did but have power, something Duhapuss doesn't have to hurt Wilder... Duhapuss did give Wilder a nice swollen Pizza Face though!!

On your second point I agree on Pacific Islanders being some of the nicest people in the world. That being said its is that very lack of a killer in Parker that has kept him from being one of the best in the sport and its would kill him vs DW. He has a good chin but it can and would be cracked by DW. Parker is too vanilla offensively to pose a threat to DW. He wont go for broke like he needs to. He'll play it safe and get cracked, fight is over.

 

Yes. Parker has speed power and chin to take Wilder out quick.

Parker is too sloppy and is one of the most unenthusiastic fighters I’ve ever seen. He has a solid chin and good handspeed, but his footwork is even worse than Wilder’s. Parker needs to get a new trainer that can help him reach his full potential, since Kevin Barry isn’t getting the job done.

 

I dont think we've seen the best of Joseph Parker yet. What he needs is someone to get under his skin make him mad.
Make him want to take his opponents head off

He's a boxer. If men punching you in the face doesn't get you motivated to punch the guy back with bad intentions then you shouldn't be boxing. I've seen half dozen of his fights, admittedly not every one, and I have not seen him even pretend that he had the moxie, or will, or whatever you want to call it, to be a threat to top HWs. Has zero killer instinct. Say what you will about Wilder's inadequacies, but when he gets you hurt, he takes you out. He'd ko Parker...IMO.

 

Parker, has the ability to beat Wilder. But not the will.
