Was a great night will never forget it, and at the time I honestly found the fight exciting I was up on my feet the whole time. Found it absolutely disgusting the way Tyson Fury was treated after beating Wladamir..he went to the champs back yard and beat him at his own game, ending Klitschko's grip on the heavyweight division. Love him or hate him he deserved respect for that.
Tony Dosh PPV v Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr was like a 0-10 game with the keeper scoring all 10 by dribbling past every player for every goal
It was hardly a mayweather class performance unless you are on about his fight with Mcgregor when he had been sitting on the sofa for two years. I know fury fans think he's this master boxer but he's no mayweather.
I don't think it's as black and white as if you think the fight was dull you don't appreciate the technical side of boxing. There are plenty examples of exciting fights that were high quality boxing. Some recent ones off the top of my head would be Taylor-Prograis, Beterbiev-Gvozdyk, Canelo-Golovkin, Usyk-Briedis, etc. I appreciate skilful boxing but as a fight l still thought Klitschko vs. Fury was boring. Yes I agree there was intrigue while watching it at the time. Intrigued and waiting for the moments where the fight would come to life. Waiting...and waiting...and after 12 rounds of non-action, it's safe to say it was a dull fight. Does that mean I'm not a boxing fan? Dont be silly. It's still a fight we expect to see, and the best fights tend to be with great boxers who come to fight.
Spot on, how can anyone say your not a boxing fan because you didn't like one of the worst heavyweight title fights of all time. Fury fans won't accept the fight stunk, they just say it was a masterclass.
Drug cheat Fury catches the worst version of klitschko seen in years, distracted by the collapse of his marrige, worried about his borderline suicidal wife, and proceeds to nick one on points by landing 2 extra jabs a round in a fight which sets the record for the least action. The 10 year champion has a rematch clause, wants to go straight back in there remotivated to take Furys head clean off Fury fails a drug test for a serious PED the fight previous to klitschko, opening the obvious question, why would he cheat for hamer then be clean for klitschko. The PED cheat Fury then "retires" because of "mental illness" or is banned, who really knows. Then he comes back, fights 4 bums and draws against wilder after being given a 20 count in the 12th. The ATG klitschko who represented the sport with dignity and class for over a decade never got his rematch, robbed of it by Fury. Truly a dark day in the sport.
It was a tramps version of Ali/Foreman. I mean Fury was evading Wlad's punches but instead of landing eye catching lead right hands Fury was hitting thin air.
Been saying this for ages Fury fans like yeah so Fury runs from wach citing im being stitched up Fury fans his cousin or some family member died These goal post aint fixed down there mobile dont you know
I’ve said elsewhere but the ‘edge of your seat’ comments about Klitschko Fury make me think of a horror film where you’re guided around the dark spooky house anticipating the jump cut loud noise scare at any moment. You wait and wait, then the noise is revealed to be a cat. Then the film ends.
I believe that he had an ankle injury and posted a pic of it. Just so happened that it was the same day that the news of his failed Hammer test was released.
Hate to feed the trolls but lol! https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/1043...271119&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1574868068 A good point about Josh Taylor though, although he just isn’t well known enough.
