Anyone noticed this? its almost a certain 100% Knockout coming if u look away... I know this is somewhat instinctual, to look away or close your eyes when someone/something is about to hit your face... but I noticed that the majority of brutal knockouts come when boxers look away or close their eyes, or block their vision with their gloves, and then boom, an uppercut comes. Look at Marsellos' Wilder last fight, he was KO'd with a very light hook, but if u look closely in slow motion he closes his eyes right before the shot lands? WHY WOULD U DO THIS?
instinctual when bracing for an impact. you dont see it in the most skilled fighters much, as they have trained themselves to always keep your eyes on your opponent as the best opportunities come when the opponent is punching and vulnerable. danny garcia even punches with his eyes closed a lot of times.
Closing your eyes is an instinctual reaction to avoid damage to your eyes. It has to be unlearned in boxing. Looking away, rolling with the punch, is a way to lessen the impact.
Parker did that a lot when fighting Whyte He would flinch all the time before a punch even came Usually happens when someone is punching you really hard and it hurts Just being human I guess
All fighters do it if they see the punch coming and they know it's too late to block it. Not only is it instinct, it's common ****ing sense.
