Seems sensible in the case of Leo Santa Cruz he moved up to Super-featherweight and became WBA super super featherweight champion and the same with Canelo. I can see it is difficult with Mikey Garcia to know exactly where to put him.
Santa Cruz is not better than Berchelt at 130lbs. He struggled with Miguel Flores in his first fight, cmon now. Canelo is not better than Beterbiev at 175 lbs. He struggled with a badly aged Kovalev, Beterbiev smashed Gvozdyk who's in his prime and beat the man in Stevenson, he's a unified and lineal champ.
