You missed Hrgovic vs Molina, or was that because it will be so far from competitive? Worthwhile statement in his build up, still. Also I am leaning towards AJ beating Ruiz.

Didn't realize CEJ vs Korobov was this week. So Korobov who is close to 37, had an extremely extensive amateur career, and has been past his prime for years, is fighting on his surrogate son Jermallo's undercard for the right to earn a rematch against him even though he already beat him in most people's eyes against an opponent who is sure to put even more miles on his clock, his third hard fight in a row, instead of just being given the rematch he deserved on this card? And Jermallo is fighting a career 154 pounder featherfist instead of Korobov? Well played Big Al - if Korobov manages to get past CEJ he should be sufficiently softened and ripe for the picking for Jermallo.

People are sleeping on the fight Saturday night between Chris Eubank and Matt Korobov. Eubank is coming off his impressive win in February over James DeGale. Korobov coming off his back-to-back TV thrillers against Jermall Charlo and Aleem. (I had Matt winning both.) When all is said and done, this could be the best fight of the weekend. The winner would be a natural fight for Charlo or Ryota Murata. Possibly even Golovkin.
All of you really need to stop deluding yourselves. Al Haymon does not give a damn about Matt Korobov. They did not sign Chris Eubank Jr so he could lose to Korobov. Also with a work rate of Eubank, enough rounds will be close enough that most biased PBC judges will be able to get away with giving them to Eubank guilt-free. They aren't going to shitcan a potential Charlo-Eubank showdown just to please some old has been like Korobov just because he is hitting his stride late in his career. I hate Eubank with a passion, I would love to see him lose. But it ain't happening here. Quite frankly, Aleem and Charlo both had Matvey rocked late. Eubank woll finish the job if he has a chance. So I'm not writing off a stoppage here either.
You are picking Hogan over Charlo! Why and how First of all we all know who the A side is Hogan is not stopping Charlo not strong enough So how in the heavens does Hogan pull it off?
I'm with you on the Korobov fight. If he had a gas tank, I think he would absolutely school CEJ. But he doesn't, he gasses around the halfway point of every fight. I mean I think he beat both Aleem and Charlo but he let those fights get away from him to an extent. CEJ will probably drop the early rounds, he is really a pretty bad boxer. But as the rounds go on, he'll simply outwork Korobov. He might stop Korobov late or he'll win a 116-112 type of decision.
He won't..... it's just me being contrarian. But I do think he'll do enough to get a split decision loss. There'll be more than a few people screaming robbery Saturday, most likely myself included.
