It seems now people want to list weights in the threads. Holmes by easy knockout. I say 5-6 rounds.

Holmes but Its not a blow out. He'd ram that Jab in to AJ s face but Joshua would be up for this fight, putting a little pressure on him. But this is only going to end one way, Holmes the all round better fighter, stops him in 7.

AJ to modern. The weight and height difference would leave that midget Holmes trembling.

Perhaps some feel a man 6'3" ,210lbs is big enough to beat anybody, provided he has the talent

    Whereas a man 5'10" 185lbs is not?

I can't believe you haven't been banned yet. If you want to troll then be at least a better troll. If your life is so sad you need attention in online boxing sites I suggest you get some help. But lets say you are being serious. Anthony Joshua just lost to the morbidly obese 5'11/6'0 Andy Ruiz. Larry Holmes was 6'3. So if you are a troll or just clueless I will have to ignore you now.

Holmes - and I think he wins inside the distance. I think Larry would outbox & outmanoeuvre AJ and picks him apart for a stoppage in the last third of the 12 rounds.

Joshua would be nothing more than a top 10 contender in Holmes prime. Joshua never gets any offense going because he isnt skilled enough and doesnt have the ring IQ to get past Larry's jab. Holmes stops him with a couple rt hands Joshua never see's

If Holmes was 209.5lbs he would definitely win. Maybe if Joshua came in at 248 little 209lb Larry might have a chance.

This. Would go the distance. Homes isn´t in the punchers class to trouble AJ enough to make it closer.

Its not his fault. He is ill. Inside his head.
Its viral. In other words, its a believe build on viral narratives of the past. These folktales get carried through boxing timeline, like nothing has changed. Plus boxing historians tend to behave like most people do: They get stuck in the time feeling of their prime, appraising experiences of their better days more significant than nowadays. Rocky was better than Liston and Ali, Ali was better than Holmes, who of course was better than Tyson, who was the last figure of the golden age until Lewis came. Who of course was light years ahead of the fellows today blabla....

Problem with ROCKISTA BRAIN VIRUS (RBV): That syndrome discribed above is developed excessively. The era of Rocky is rigorous distinct from changing eras. Rockys opponents median weight was below 190lb. Let that sink in for a moment. You can count on one hand who was even CW today.

Thats why I call it viral. Folks trumping this horse**** without setting their brain to "on".

Others adapted even more. They build their whole boxing world, from neglecting rising avarage mens height or or increasing sport science to "roid pestilence" all around their invalid logic. Carnera was on the same lvl. as Bowe for his "accomplishments". Examples are countless. It might sound funny, but in fact its not. Thats mentally disturbed. Thats why I choose to spend no time on here anymore. Nonsense not worth spending too much time.

Heres another example of the issue.

Same era that Berbick and Bonecrusher held titles in but okay.
