Which boxer have you seen put in the best performance but ultimately lost?(of all time)

I would say recently Joshua in the first Ruiz fight

It’s technically cheating because it was a draw but JMM vs Pacman 1, 99.999999% of people thought JMM was getting sparked out round 2, yet he fought on 11 rounds and arguably won the fight going down 3 times in the first round

How in the hell can anyone view Joshua's performance against Ruiz as good? He got his ass handed to him and he quit

Has to be Marquez vs Pacquiao 1

Dude came back from the dead and made the adjustment to win in my eyes but get the draw!

Provodnikov fought the fight of his life against Bradley n came up short. I thought it was a robbery but...lots of people thought Bradley legitimately won. Awsome fight.

Actually a pretty good question. Off the top of my head I'll give a shout out to Ali against Frazier in FOTC. Coming back from 3 1/2 years off and holding his own against a machine like Joe was pretty impressive. I see some good picks above here and I'm sure there are a lot more but I don't have time to think them up right now. Good question though:ARMS1:

Man I remember watching Cotto vs Mosley and the buzz before the fight was that Shane would just be a big name to add on Cotto resume similar to like Khan vs MAB.. Man Cotto barely eeked out that decision and was retreating like the last 3 or 4 rds.. I couldn’t believe Tony did the same thing after he defeated Cotto with the same idea in his head.. Mosley still had speed and enough physical strength to always give both guys hell..

Chisora vs a lot of good fighters, Whyte, Vitali, and first Fury fight for example.

    Wladimir vs Joshua

Those a recent ones off the top of my head.
