    Who wins in this skillfest?

The Valuev who fought Liakhovich behind a surprisingly effective jab or the Burns who ground down Flynn?

Tommy doesn’t have the height to make this competitive

What about Jimmy Wilde vs. Rocky Marciano? I haven't done the math but isn't that match close to the same percentage weight differential as Burns and Valuev?

Tommy Burns wins. FYI, Prime Tyson would also beat Valuev.

    Agreed.

A more competitive bout would've been Valuev vs the Stay Puft Marshmallow man.

Tommy slips in and out of the giant ones reach, punching to the body. Valuev find s he just can't touch this guy!!.
Burns by a very clear decision has Valuev hangs his head in shame!

No. Not even close. That's like a 90lbs difference, we're looking at a 130ish gap here.

A better example would be a Prince Patel vs an inshape Ray Mercer. Which quite frankly I'd pay to see

How about no. Size is only unimportant when it comes to fighters like Rocky Marciano, Gene Tunney, Jack Dempsey, Harry Greb, Tommy Burns ect. These guys could beat 220 plus pound guys just because. But of course no guy who is even 10 pounds lighter could beat Jack Dempsey, Tommy Burns, Rocky Marciano, or Gene Tunney....just because.

Get Valuev to burn that 3/4 lb and it'd be like shades of Ali.

    VALUEV by brutal decimation.

I was talking percentage gap rather than a straight poundage gap. But like I say, I didn't think I needed to actually do the math to make my point!

If Valuev were around back then, he would’ve found it far more lucrative to wrestle bears with the travelling circus.

Burns is one of the most underrated champions in history and imo a p4p top 100 staple

But he's simply out of his his depth here. Eventually he's gonna get tired of having to jump to hit the lumbering Valuev, who would hit him from half the ring away. Burns is used to being the shorter man so it would be somewhat competitive. And as we all know from Barbados Joe Walcott, if you know how to fight small and your opponent is **** enough you can overcome alot of things. Valuev, while nothing great, isn't Sandy Furguson.

Burns' best chance is to set the fight in 110°F heat and have the ref stop Burns from beating Valuev's heat stroked brain into mush

That being said I favor Valuev via boring UD. You could almost call this a style mismatch.
