If AJ beats Ruiz will he still fight Big Baby Miller in the future? That would've been a great fight had it happened in June. Big Baby could have possibly been Champion now instead of Ruiz
Really hope Miller doesn't get any type of big fight for the rest of his career, and gets upset by some journeyman for his trouble. That guy wasn't just juicing, he seemed to have plundered a pharmacy. His whole body is build on drugs! Incredible that he got away with it due to some technicality.
The Joshua/Miller fight wasn't particularly exciting in the first place, other than being amusing for Miller accusing Joshua of being on PEDs and then immediately getting busted himself on multiple counts. There are far more interesting fights for Joshua, win or lose against Ruiz. I'd rather see him fight Usyk, Chisora, Ortiz, Hrgovic, Hunter, Joyce, Dubois, Fury, Wilder, Kownacki and Rivas, all above Miller.
I never wanna see or hear about Miller again, he belongs in the same box as Kash Ali. Irrelevant. Have no interest in seeing him fight AJ either. Boring.
Sadly I think we will see him in high profile fights again. The public love a bad guy and this guy is as close to one as it gets in the HW division.
As a big Miller supporter (prior to his gamma ray infused shenanigans came to light), I on one hand feel the same way. On the other hand, I feel everyone has the right to be absolved of past indiscretions and he should be able to eventually continue. I think he needs to work all the way from the bottom back up though, definitely don't think a title shot should be handed to him over anyone that's kept their nose clean. I'm real conflicted on how long the punishment should last. I think he should be on the sidelines at least 2/3 years though, at this point he hasn't been out long enough. it's only been a year.
Unfortunately, PED use in pro boxing is rampant. It's become part of the game as has knowing how to get around testing. What we can say about Miller is he is not very good at it. Miller is not the first fighter to get popped and won't be the last. He should be treated the same as any other fighter that's tested positive.
