It’d be better than in a bar not being able to hear the commentary and getting stood on whilst drinks are spilled over you by people who pretend to care about what they’re watching but don’t. Tenners a bit steep but plenty of idiots will pay 25!!
Just checked my local Vue, they’re charging £14 there, and by the looks of the seating plan only 12 tickets have been purchased so far. Must admit I like the idea of watching in a cinema though,
https://www.boxingforum24.com/members/unforgiven.2761/ £14.95 at my local Vue. I might go for it. Big screen. It's a decent price still, considering they've hiked this to £25 for home viewing. In a pub I'd spend £15 on beer anyway, just to pass the time while watching, and it would be the normal crowded standing room only sweaty experience as usual. This has been under publicised, to say the least, I only found out about it by chance. I am lucky enough to have seen numerous big fights in cinemas. For me it is the ideal way to see them and this is unmissable with the state of the art transmission at the Vue.
Be the same in many others, due to the inexplicable lack of publicity! There's only 5 or so sold where I'm going. Be like having a private screening!
Yeah real boxing would be good on a cinema screen, but AJ running a marathon around a ring isn't as entertaining
