I understand that weight is often attributed to genetics, but regardless, to be as fat as Ruiz major indiscipline has to be factored in, super athletes don't get that fat unless you have some kind of eating disorder that stems from being undisciplined.

Getting fatter for the rematch is not a good sign of having hunger to win. It means that his priority for being the best he can be has diminished with all the new found fame and distractions, and has put boxing on the back burner.

    In short Andy ****ed up.

I'm still rooting for him, because I'd like to think that I'm wrong in my judgment of him, and also I think Joshua is severely overrated and is not a better fighter than Ruiz, however, Joshua's discipline is superior to Ruiz', so I'm not counting him out.

    Let the better man win!

Even if he gets a first round KO, I'm disappointed by his lack of professionalism.

But I'm still cheering for him because guys like this challenge paradigms, which is healthy.

He was, but you figure you'd at least try to improve a bit or at the very least come in on par as your last fight.

I was rooting for AJ before this... but now even moreso.

While Ruiz comes in fatter... AJ faced his ego and pride to shed some of his ridiculous muscle for the sake of victory.

To me, he wants it more.

Unfortunately for AJ, who wants it more doesnt equate to who wins, and I don't expect their weights to ultimately matter so much. It may mean the difference between AJ getting stopped and just losing a decision, but I still expect Ruiz to be wrong for him.

    Hope Im wrong.

Oh, please. Pre-made excuse to not give Joshua full credit. If he wins, oh Ruiz is the better fighter but he came in too fat. If he loses, wow Andy did it even fatter.

Nah bro he's hungry, he looked fast and strong in the workouts, that extra weight might be muscle which means he will come in stronger, Ruiz knows in order to keep his belts he needs to stop AJ, no way he wins a decision.
