It was a big giant guy running away from a fat guy for 12 rounds in pure terror and having the nerve to talk smack like he was in there to actually fight.

Ruiz has no one to blame but himself. Let that fast life get the best of him and came in way too heavy. Whereas aj sought redemption came in light and took it serious and it paid off. Smh
BIG CREDIT FOR AJ FOR STAYING DISCPLINED AND STICKING TO THE GAME PLAN EVEN WHEN RUIZ TEASED HIM TO ENGAGE AT THE END... BOOM FULL FOCUS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I was rooting for Ruiz, but Joshua fought a very disciplined fight. I wouldn't consider it a great performance, but a very good one. I give him credit.
A ugly win, but still a win. Joshua probably could have done that in the first fight, and I think he would have stopped the blob. Coming in heavier.
What an awesome display from AJ. He put on a clinic. He did a Tyson Fury. And I didn't think he could do that. Impressive.
My prediction was wrong My sports book Disgraceful performance from Ruiz. He knew how Joshua was going to box tonight. Joshua did exactly what he needed to do, not pretty but effective for points. Ruiz pissed it away at the weigh in scale.
My girlfriend was falling asleep halfway though. These types of fights hurt boxing and turn away potential fans.
Didn’t think Joshua could stick to that plan for 12 rounds but credit to him I guess. Seems like his team have figured out he doesn’t need to be exciting to be marketable. His fragility will always keep people interested
