Make the voting public, so I can see all the usual suspects aka elcyclon, isal, etc vote boring lmao. You know if Canelo pitched a shut out on one of his opponents like that, they would be jizzing all over it.

It’s a little boring but you can’t always KO everyone. Sometimes you have to find other ways to win. AJ has grown as a fighter.

He did what he had to do, Ruiz is a hard, and dangerous man to KO. The harder he gets hit the more angry he gets. AJ landed a few peaches as well. He fought a good disciplined fight, one I didn't think he was capable of. He deserves huge credit, like him of not. To slag it of is being completely unreasonable, he is not the only fighter to have fought this game plan, think about that.

Boring, but exactly what I expected he would and should do.
I though he would take Ruiz out with it if it worked though, but Ruiz has a hell of a chin and his eye didn't get much worse.

I wouldn't even argue it was Joshua's fault it was a slow fight. Ruiz never pushed the action.

Joshua landed plenty of nice hard shots and rocked Ruiz a few times and was landing good clean shots throughout. I enjoyed it. Was a good boxing display.

    As a fan, meh.

As a boxing observer, bravo. Joshua figured out the style he needed and won with it. Credit to him.

As someone said in another thread, it was Lewis vs Tua. Sometimes you just have to fight cautious and at range.

Not a fan, but he did what he needed to in order to win.

Ruiz was disgraceful, coming in fat and slow as moleasses when he knew AJ would do this, and had the tools to trouble AJ as he has shown before.

AJ found the way to avoid the fast hands of Ruiz. He won pretty much all rounds. He had a try here and there to KO Ruiz, didn't work and he played safe. It's absolutely okay. Why risk it...

Ruiz remains dangerous, I don't know why someone would volutarily fight him, high risk and low reward now. Even with his extra weight he remains dangerous.

All the experts were crowing here that AJ had no chin, no stamina, no heart etc etc.

Now those same experts are complaining that he just produced a game plan that took out all of the above out of the equation...

The fat blob went all Buster Douglas and paid the price and lets be honest he got under estimated in the same fight which gave him his break.

Not a fan of the style as I like a good old fashioned scrap... but full credit to his discipline in sticking to the plan right to the very last second, he's stock just went higher for me.

The new AJ is dangerous as ****.

His achilles heel was being slOppy and losing focus at times, where he was open for the counter...

Now he is one tough customer... this changes things

You have to be realistic Andy has faster hands and is much shorter than AJ.. There was no way AJ was not gonna fight like Wlad vs Ibrigamov except he was slightly more aggressive.. Stupidity didn’t make him the unified HW champ and stupidity would have been trading with Andy..

AJ has a similar skill set and physical build to Wlad expect more fights like this where he have physical advantages.. Obviosuly he can’t this way vs Fury or Wilde because they’re taller but everybody else Usyk included this is what your going to get

Boring, because AJ couldn't do what Ruiz did to him and stop him inside the distance. Cojones needed badly.
