If he lands the right he will. Joshua can't take that punch. I think Joshua KO's Wilder before he gets the chance after tonight though. He's got rid of that draining muscle and has better fluidity to his movement. I favoured Wilder until tonight.
Maybe. I don't think Joshua's more cautious approach would help him against Wilder but he prob will get a chance to land something big on Wilder himself and if he does it may well be Wilder who gets eviciserated.
No chance. Wilder will be made to look stupid. He has the Boxing IQ of a toenail, literally. AJ either boxes his head off (remember, he'd have BIG shots coming back at him, not like the ones Fury was throwing), or just steamrolls him early.
Same. I really thought Ruiz was Joshua's kryptonite. Joshua's only other back foot fight was against Parker, where he looked awkward, cumbersome and relied on the ref to keep the fight at a distance. Tonight he was far more fluid, used his feints to set up his jab and was far more effective because of it. Really felt like he's added another string to his bow.
Wilder wont take Joshua's shots either. And People can clearly see why it isnt optimal for AJ to trade in the pocket - against Ruiz. Joshua would murder Wilder in the pocket...
Dunno...Wilder's height and reach will ensure he lands at some point. The shots Fury threw are not even on Joshua's radar.
Wilder splits Joshua's head open. Joshua had to fight a perfect fight to avoid getting knocked out by Ruiz who looked absolutely awful and thats a guy he has a huge reach advantage over.
I love how people predicting Wilder by KO pretend that all of a sudden Wilder has Ruiz's chin. Ruiz is a nightmare for any power puncher and Fury with half the athleticism that Joshua displayed was able to make Wilder look stupid.
