And Ruiz v Joshua 2 was just like Tua v Lewis.

Like Ruiz, Tua was (sadly) a lazy trainer. We hear stories of Ruiz turning up 2 hours late to training.

Tua came in FAT to his only title shot. Lewis calmy pot-shotted him to death like AJ did last night.

What happened to Tua? He never fought for the title again - but did have some great hit-outs vs Rahman and Moorer, etc. He foolishly sued his managers and lost all his money and his mansion. Ended up living in his gym. $Millions gone.

Years later he found a lovely Samoan lady to marry and settled down.

I suggest this was the last title fight that Ruiz will ever have. And he will have trouble hanging onto his money.

Sad what lazy trainers do to themselves. Tua could have been an ATG.

I think that because he is Mexican, he has the possibility of fighting for wbc titles against wilder

Yes - Mexico may want to see him

Coming in 282 was a terrible sign, watching the fight only showed Ruiz lack of work ethic & emphasized even more so why Joshua is a champion, stripped the bulk off & work hard for 12 rounds to a game plan & didn't even look like loosing

Ruiz is now high risk - low reward.

Who will want to fight him? (Wilder? - I think not).

Ruiz has faster hands than Tua had.

Maybe a few years ago. Now their hands are about comparable.

Tua was an awesome knockout puncher in his prime.

One of the saddest wastes of talent.....

Still can't understand why he came so grossly overweight for the most important fight of his career. I think Lewis would beat even in-shape version of Tua, but the fight would be more competetive

I think it stinks..Third fight already sorted before the second fight started, Ruiz coming in fat as ****...Nah, I think this fight was AJ's on pts before the first bell rang

    Ruiz embarrassed himself.

Even Mexico may not be fans after that....

    Same happened to Tua, actually.

His popularity greatly declined with one fight.
