Being outboxed 40 times and winning by knockout 40 times just means 40 wins. It doesn’t matter what happened in all the other rounds, winning by KO in boxing is literally the pinnacle. The rest is literally irrelevant.

A michelin man that was the most incredible, most unbelievable, skilled fighter with lightning fast hands that people had ever seen - according to many on here, until this morning that is! To me Ruiz is utter sh*t but thats just my opinion.

Totally agree and the only astonishing thing is that people thought he was Mohammed Ali after beating a mediocre at best Anthony Fury-Klitschko

Yeah absolutely.in wilders case why is he turning down astronomical amounts of money to become a unified heavyweight champion? Wait and see what he does when Joshua and Hearn are chasing him again next year.more blatant lying and ducking I'm gonna say.

Wilder has that because he fights such lower level opponents compared to the opponents that AJ fights.

If Wilder goes on to beat people like Whyte, Povetkin and Parker then I'll give him credit. However turning down fights from the likes from AJ, Whyte and Chisora to fight lesser opposition as he has done inthe past, does his credibility no favours.

    "Appreciation Thread"

Apparently Joshua was KO'd by his spoon eating breakfast this morning, dropped by it three mouthfuls in.

In keeping with the thread title now, I thought Joshua did very well last night, went about the task in hand effectively and efficiently. If Fury had been facing Ruiz jnr last night some people would no doubt be calling it a masterclass.

    Back on the appreciation thread:

AJ has more wins against top 10 opponents in either Boxrec or Ring magaine than Fury or Wilder combined.

Ok you’ve shown your agenda a bit now which somewhat explains your abysmal previous posting line.

Still none of which supports your terrible assertion that losing rounds before putting someone to sleep could in any way even remotely factor in the result. Ie a brutal knockout.

In boxing you can be losing every minute of every round and win by knockout and the result is a knockout. Nothing else matters. A knockout trumps everything which went before it. Neuters it. Kills it stone dead.

what happened in rounds 1-12 in boxing only ever becomes relevant if the final bell rings. Otherwise it holds no place for consideration in any way. It is irrelevant.

    One more to hammer the point deep into Mitchs subconscious then I’ll leave it be;

Mitch is poking a sleeping tiger with a stick, the previous 40 people who poked the tiger with a stick were poking and poking it - the tiger was taking a proper poking, looking terrible by all accounts and technically losing on the cards until it woke up and killed them in an instant. Ate them whole then went back to sleep. 40 times now the tigers done this.

Mitch is taking confidence from their previous 40 stick poking strategies which have all worked PERFECTLY until they got killed and eaten. So Mitch is winning this one , poking away, feeling good about his chances... he’s winning every second of every poke, guy is literally SCHOOLING this tiger...

then the tiger opens one eye, lifts up a paw , grabs Mitch by the throat and bites his head off whole.

My agenda? Say someone who wont give credit and aknowledge how good Aj resume is compared to other fighters in the divison.

Like i said before are you saying the likes of AJ, Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Hunter, Pulev etc arent going to analysising rounds were Wilder is making mistakes and being out boxed by lesser opponents in these round and think Wilder has weaknesses that he can look to exploit with greater affect? Of course they are. The way all boxers do with each other however Wilder has displayed more glaring litmitations and weaknesses than the other top fighters.

    You are clutching at straws

What do you class as recent form

Last fight, last 2 last 6?

Last fight only Joshuas win over ruiz trumps ortiz.

Last two well AJ lost so you could say wilder won 2.

Last 3 and its probably dillian whyte

Cmon man, give it up. AJ is number one

Quite a while ago, think it might have been after the Takam win. I remeber Hearn stating that he was sending two offers one for Whyte and another for Chisora for lesser money and Wilder can choose.

Yeah but even if true, why would he even contemplate that fight?
And before you reel off his admittedly poor resume, consider that the majority of them are PBC cult fannies

If you are talking form over the last 12 - 18 months then the number 1 had to be dillian whyte. Parker, Chisora, rivas and wach.

But AJ has all the belts and has the overall better record including win over whyte.

    He's number 1.

Ruiz is clearly better than ortiz. Ortiz is a nobody with a career highlight of beating jennings. Ruiz has beaten Joshua and has a very contorversial loss to Parker.

Wilder lost to fury, fury has been fighting bums for most of his career also.

For me AJ is number 1. Whyte number 2 and fury and wilder can fight it out for number 3 spot next year.
