Of course he does. We're trying to get rid of Joshua and Hearn, remember? The blubber monster failed, now a real athlete will be brought forth to slay the beast. Fury is backup. Wilder only if we're desperate. Let's try to remember our objectives and keep boxing politics out it.

Absolutely and recognise his unique skill set. I would have thought a fight vs Chisora or Whyte would have been an ideal stepping stone.

Team Usyk fear defeat, and losing the Joshua lottery ticket.

We`ll be able to judge that when Usyk meets Chisora in Feb.

Usyk is far more skilled than Haye was, he`s a smarter counter puncher with better timing.

Yes and no. Yes given he cleaned up the entire division below and appears to be more willing to fight anyone than the rest of that division. No given that you should still really need to beat a contender first.

He'll be fighting Chisora anyways who isn't a proper contender really but he's an actual legit HW still

I would love to see this thread after 2Slyk outboxes Joshie. Then you people will be laughing on the other side of your faces.

F*** Whyte, he had a chance to fight Josh for the belts and he turned it down.

I guess Usyk deserves a shot as much as anyone else although Whyte has been criminally messed about by Wilder and the WBC. As Usyk is with Matchroom / DAZN, I can't imagine Fast Eddie not stringing him along and getting a few Bob out of him before he puts him into a fight with AJ.

I reckon Usyk should cash out with AJ, don't believe he has a chance otherwise... he could easily get stopped by any of these top contenders and sent right to the back of the queue.

The forum got a wake up call when The Predator "Hunter" failed to slay his prey, who was an old man, way past prime. And the predator got hurt.

Last time I checked, Predators were formidable hunters.

Usyk wont be that much better than Hunter, and he will get a rude awakeing... a lot of girls gonna get the bubble burst

Chazz witherspoon was taggin Usyk at Will

He's cleaned out the division below, he's a name, he deserves it for me. Do we really want to see him having 5 fights as a warm up.
Chisora next would be good and then anyone with a belt after that is fine with me

It took 2 years for Evander to fight Douglas i'd rather we didn't have to wait that long for Usyk.. Boxers fight so rarley now i'd rather they got on with it. I'd rather see Usyk go in with Wilder, Fury, AJ rather than Pulev or Povetkin - these guys have had their turn

Caught for drugs, twice, that last cover up shows the power of money.
Got a gift against Parker after the ref gave Whyte a headbutt KD and free for all dirty tactics before protecting him in the last rounds.

Usyk has done little at HW but Boxing's precedent is for lower weight champs to move straight into title shots. In addition this breed of HW doesn't want to fight the best, they just want to smash tomato cans for risk free money where the ref and judges are bought for good measure. In that case, it's going to be good for boxing to see Usyk take all the belts off these clowns and make some good fights.

Whyte's single redeeming quality is his willingness to fight whoever he can. That's probably more to do with his lack of a belt than pride, but I may be mistaken.

He's 32 you daft twat. He fought every single fighter at CW away to win the world series boxing tournament. The only thing he's scared of losing is time.
