Absolutely. After confidently picking Ruiz, that clip had me seriously doubting myself. I'd have never picked it up myself, but after that dude pointed it out, it was obvious how unsure Ruiz was about his preparation.
It actually could headline its own card. I'm going to tweet Eddie about this so that he'll get the idea.
Wonder if the bodybuilder will keep fighting below 240 now? Would be interesting to see if a lighter version could outbox Pulev for 12 rounds.
I remember reading an article about 5 years ago saying that 1200 people had died building the Qatar World Cup stadiums. God knows what it’ll be now. Money is the only thing that matters.
Was talking to a colleague on Friday. His uncle went out to work in Saudi Arabia a few years ago. Apparently, he had it in his mind that he would only work out there for a year and he would pretty much be set for his retirement years such was the money that was getting offered. He ended up staying for 5 years. I didn’t catch his job title but it was construction. Anyway, whilst constructing a building, cement was being poured into a huge pit, and a migrant worker fell from a height into the pit as the cement was pouring....and they just carried on. Apparently, to stop the pouring at that point would have cost a significant sum of money and time. I was too surprised to get more context to this anecdote, but it gives an idea of the lengths they will go to to get things done in that country.
that made me sick to my stomach, just put myself in the mind of the guy who was buried alive in concrete. Horrific. RIP
I possibly could have articulated my post better. But it is incredible, but look at the replies, they are all far to thick to grasp any of this at all. An unlimited budget and an entirely dependable work force with 0 rights, great combination got getting a job done.
