The Foreman of Lyle/Frazier 2 vs the 1989 version of Ruddock. Would Foreman have to rise off the canvas to take the win?

Ruddock lands a couple of good hookercuts early on, but barely backs Foreman up. RR finally gets caught flush by the second round (latest), flounders around like a fish out of water until the ref stops the fight.

Don't become like Mark Ant. You're better than this.

On Jan 24 1976, George Foreman kayoed Ron Lyle, round 5, in a knock down drag out fight, which saw George hit the deck before winning the bout. Foreman a wild swinging puncher could suffocate an opponent with an overwhelming assortment of brutal blows. Razor Ruddock gave Iron Mike Tyson a good fight, before being stopped in round 7, on March 18 1991. I see George fighting cautiously for the first 3 rounds, throwing out his ponderous left jab, then he catches Ruddock with his thunderous right, in round 4. Razor then receives Foreman's whirlwind blows , he then sinks to the canvas, to be counted out by the referee.

Honestly, I think Foreman would have some difficulty with prime Ruddock as Foreman wasn't hard to land on. I favor Foreman via stoppage, but who knows, if Ruddock lasts like he did with Tyson and the fight goes late, Ruddock had the power to viciously KO a weary Foreman. So I say Foreman early-mid rounds, Ruddock late.

It's a possibility. If Ruddock could still be there at the end of 12 against Tyson, then yes, maybe he could do it here. Foreman at this stage was all over the place, his head was gone. If he can't get Ruddock out early, who knows how he'll fare.

Regardless of who wins, it'd be a rock em sock em fight.
