    Showtime @ Barclays, January 25th.

Danny stated on the Charlo vs. Hogan broadcast (interviewed at ringside at Barclays) that he would be making his return at the venue on this date. Redkach was probably finalized as the opponent within the last 48 hours.

García is rated WBC & WBA #2, and WBO #3 at welterweight (absent from the IBF top fifteen). Redkach is currently not ranked by any org.

Redkach will last a tiny bit longer than Rod Salka.

I'm torn between rooting for the wildly unlikely (but deliciously humiliating for DSG) upset by Redkach, and wanting him to stand down and let Pacquiao dish out the pain instead.. .

I think Redkach makes Danny work for every round up until the 9th and then it’s Bam Bam Rio all over again

Brutal counter left hook sends Redkach to the canvas. No chance here. Redkach ain't a 147 pounder.

Maybe Ivan takes him the distance and Danny Legohead gets a close decision.

I wonder if Redkach got off the A-side meth and got on some A-side PED's since hooking up with Sugar Shane?:sisi1 (Kidding about both).

That being said, what are the chances Redkach has found his power and right division at 147 and might be a force? I say slim to none, but.... crazier things have happened, I mean he did just brutally KO a guy known for his iron chin.

Poor Devon, it seems his new trainer, Roy Jones Jr. case of glassjawitis is now highly contagious. :sisi1

So if the unthinkable happens, is that it for Swift? Will he retire in shame, or will Haymon strong-arm him into fulfilling whatever contractual obligations he's under and continue trotting him out for a prolonged jobbing tour? Maybe pit him against fellow disgraced former Golden Boy golden boy Victor Ortiz?

Theres nowhere to go for him if he loses to Chia.

It would take years to build back up.

However, unless he manages to trip on the way to the ring, hes not losing to Santana.

Everybody has it out for Danny Garcia on this forum. It probably started when he knocked their hero Morales, flourished when he crushed their hero Khan, and then the hate was really set in stone when he did the unthinkable and took out their hero Matthysse.

Don't even like Danny but the lot of you have been so out of wack with not giving him his dues his whole career so it seems like I'm always speaking nice about him. I flubbed the Khan and Matthysse picks like everybody else but that isn't going to make me talk a bunch of dumb stuff about him and act like he isn't among the 25, probably higher, best fighters of the last decade (what they did, not just your personal eye test, sowwy).

    ...but, he's fighting Ivan Redkach.

Jarrett Hurd is the one that's about to fight Chia Santana.
