Because he's a stay-at-home boxer with one paper title, and refuses to take on challenges, Deontay Wilder will never become an international boxing star like Muhammad Ali who fought all over the world and Anthony Joshua who fought in Saudi Arabia last Saturday.

Joshua is becoming a worldwide household name like Ali and Mike Tyson, but this kind of fame will forever elude Wilder.

Oh right, he once travelled to the UK to knock out an old man named Audley Harrison on an undercard. But fighting faded old men won't make anyone an international star.

Yes he will, when violently KO's AJ and then violently KO's him again in the rematch.

As far as Ali goes, no one will ever be Ali, not even AJ, so that's a moot point.

    For realsies?

If Bronze Bollocks wants to KO Joshua he's gonna have to go for it early. AJ will only need 2 rounds to shatter that Alabama glass.

Fair play regarding the Ali comments, on the other hand.

Never takes on challenges huh. Top 3 in the division are (in whatever order you fancy) Fury, Wilder and AJ. Two of them are fighting each other again.

You are right though, I don't think he'll reach AJ's global reach. Depends if as a fan that's the sort of thing you care about. Some do.

I am a fan of Wilder but I have to admit that he should have been working within the rankings of the other sanctioning bodies to secure a unification fight. Pulev, Parker, etc were all available fights he could have taken to become a mandatory for another belt. I blame PBC and their poor matchmaking.

Should be well on his way to a legacy by now, but there we go..

And you still get folk defending him, I can't respect a fighter like that, sorry! Not to mention a fighter that can't box and just waits to land a right losing round after round, that's not boxing. I feel for the sport having him up there with the WBC belt so long, doing pretty much nothing. It's not on!

    If
if he does knock Fury out, then he has to be considered the best. Fury is a great defensive fighter.

He isn't. He's just a good defensive fighter in a HW Division full of **** ones.

The hauling ass approach will only work with Ruiz, so don't get your hopes up, Wilder, Usyk and Fury all I feet just as fast as a AJ's, and can close the distance frighteningly fast. So yeah, for realsies.

    And thanks.

Because I'm malleable and not your typical snobby elitist boxing fan. Heart and willpower go a long way with me.

We have a guy obliterating people with one punch and you can't work out why people like him?
