I reckon this is a joke but you already know the shake, he's 44 years old and inactive for five years plus he was injury prone as hell.

He's already 44 and his boxing style, which relies heavily on his legs and athleticism, isn't suitable for him anymore at this age. He'll get crushed if he dares steps in the ring with any decent opponent at this stage. Sad to see that he's probably broke and desperate for money.

Sucks to see a shot former champ begging for a payday. I wish he had taken care of his money better.

Jeez...Maravilla is nearly 45 yrs old...does he need the money that badly? Can't he do perfume commercials or something like that?

How are people this dumb with money? Maravilla seemed to have a good head on his shoulders from interviews. Guess not.

The same story in boxing over...and over....and over again.

Good luck Maravilla, you gave me some of my best boxing memories of the 2000's. But don't put the gloves back on.

Why would you come back with ruined legs to face the best mover at 168. You're an idiot.
Call out someone who'll stand a little more still at least.

The thread starter said in Marabilla's prime, he destroys Saunders. I was responding to that.

Oh well in that case it's up for debate. Very difficult call actually, it could go either way depending on how good the Saunders is that shows up.

He wouldn't even beat Saunders when he was in his prime, one of the all time overrated fighters in my opinion. He lives off the Williams left hand.
