    Due to their lack of an amateur system, most have to come up as kids with no headgear, and due to the Mexican Style, they brawl alot. I reckon this means guys with bad chins don't make it to the top due to a high amount of KO losses

    He landed a nuclear missile on Ruiz first fight, Ruiz went down, got back up straight away and was clearly annoyed rather than hurt, then AJ lands another nuclear missile on Ruiz which ends up with AJ being down on his arse 10 sec later.

    ..and not only the durability, but the way Ruiz instinctively comes forward swinging when he gets hit makes him dangerous. He makes it too risky to follow up and finish him. AJ knew this and only landed one or two punches at a time in the rematch.
