Nobody has said a peep about this, maybe nobody realized? Anyway, twelve rounds @ super middleweight in Manezh, Russia, this Friday. Chudinov is ranked WBC & IBF #6, WBO #11, and is the WBA number one mandatory contender at 168lbs. N'Dam N'Jikam is ranked #6 by the WBC, down at middleweight. Chudinov is coming off three stoppages in 2019 (over Wuzhati Nuerlang, Rafael Bejaran, and Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna) since getting a gift split decision over Nadjib Mohammedi last year. N'Dam N'Jikam, who is renowned for his recuperative powers despite being easy to drop (he was decked by last three opponents, and in both of his recent victories), was stopped by Callum Smith in June and before that had taken an MD over Martin Murray last December.
I love HNN and will be rooting for him but Id rather he retire and keep what he has of his health. Warrior through and through. At this point I think sadly Chudinov has a little too much for him. In his prime though i'd comfortably pick HNN.
You'd think HNN would have mixed it up with either or both of the bros in either the amateurs or pros...but, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think we're at the point where N'dam's durability is eroding, and this is at SMW. I see him being stopped
N'Dam by Murray-esque domination. Although he'll probably dropped once or twice in the process, which could lead to him being robbed.
Yeah but the Chode boys aren't stopping anyone that's both world class and durable (and despite his penchant for round-trips onto the canvas, HNN still has plenty of that elasticity left)
I admit to seeing only the Murata and Callum pummelings, didn't see his Murray win. N'dam is historically definitely known for his durability. At what point does it run out though? Even if the opponent isn't necessarily a big puncher.
I’ll go with controversial draw. Chudinov will definitely lose, but they won’t outright rob N’Dam (at least I hope not)
