Golovkin Jacobs was seen as a massive disappointment and as much as I've enjoyed watching Golovkin fight over the years barring the Canelo farces he's never drawn what his ability would of suggested he might be able to. Couple that in with him being an a foreign middleweight based in America and it should come as little surprise Wilder doubled his numbers. FWIW I don't lay the blame on Wilder's failure to become a premier draw on him. He's been handled abysmally since becoming champ.
So the rematch is 10 weeks away and nothing is official. No announcement, no pressers, nada. What gives? Is this happening or not?
@kirk this is type of nonsense I'm getting at in Wilder's team being useless. If that date is solid then they're massively ****ing up here on the promotion front.
I'm telling you guys, this fight ain't happening. At least not in February. Fury has a 5 bum contract and he has 2 more bums to fight. And there has been 0 news on this. No venue, no pressers, no promos, nothing. All for a fight that is supposed to be a little over 2 months away? Nah man, it's not happening next. I think Fury pulls out with an excuse and Wilder fights Kownacki, or the least rated boxer of the WBC top 15
