It was the Hughie Fury fight in Sofia which was the final eliminator for the IBF mandatory. I remember Whyte, Miller and I think others passing up the opportunity, seemingly due to a fear of facing Pulev on his home turf.
Can't help but think when Chisora kicked up that fuss then went quiet, he was promised something big in the future. Maybe a PPV world title shot against Usyk?
As predicted.. Load the card with British heavies, Whyte v Ruiz or Miller, Del v someone half relevant, Hughie Fury, Pricey. It makes sense, Usyk wins and gets AJ
Hmmm yeah you could be right, very possible. I think it will go like this.. AJ Vs Pulev, it has to be, the IBF will strip AJ, they are strict, it will be held at Tottenhams new stadium around the end of May. Usyk Vs Chisora, will be made/agreed, this will be PPV, Chisora has a name and a bit of a cult following so they will believe it sells, they might need a decent chief support though. I think Hearn will ask for an extension with the WBO, if he gets it then it's AJ Vs Usyk/Chisora end of 2020. If the WBO refuse, then Hearn and Haye will petition for Usyk Vs Chisora be for the vacant title, they will say it's a HUGE PPV fight and Chisora is ranked in the top 15. If that happens, I'm sure Hearn will make them sign something saying they will defend against AJ. So the winner will fight AJ end of the year. I see where you've gone with Parker Vs Usyk but I can't see that being PPV here in the UK, they are not big enough here in the UK to justify a PPV. Unless they stick it on with Brook Vs Khan? Or something like that or maybe something even worse like Conor Benn Vs Josh Kelly?
Yeah, Usyk v Parker doesn’t make much sense as it’s more difficult for Usyk and can’t be sold as a PPV fight here. Usyk v Chisora for a world title fight will do decent business. AJ is fighting Pulev next without much doubt.
