The sparring is from 6 years ago. I have zero reason to think Wilder isnt a level or two above what he was back then. Also no reason to think he wouldn't wait for Haye to lunge in and eventually meet him with a goodnight punch around the 7th or 8th.

Wilder doesn't beat any elite level fighter.

    Haye would knock him out.

Wilder has a punchers chance against anyone, we know that so of course he could catch him.

But haye was levels above wilder its a joke that wilder is even mentioned in the same sentence as past greats, hes not even fought the best of this era and people are seriously considering whether he could beat these elite former champions.

A prime haye would dominate the current era.

Deontay is clumsy, stumbling about and leaving himself off balance. He gets away with non-sense like that against bums like Szpilka, Haye would have KO'd him brutally.

My money will be on Haye. He is far smarter and once he lands his own right its good night Wilder. I cant see Wilder landing on Haye becuase Haye can slip punches and just too ring savvy for the uncouth Wilder.

And who are the idiots who voted Wilder beating Haye lmao!! More proof these forum is so clueless about boxing!!

Haye for sure. The guy was very talented, but was unfortunate with injuries and other stuff. Still in his prime he was a great boxer both in Cruiserweight and in the Heavy. And atleast Haye has the guts to try and unify the titles and lose to a better man in Klitschko, who was in prime that time.
Wilder would never ever step in the ring with someone as dangerous and who is in his prime.
F****** that Wilder was scarry to face old and washed Klitschko, whos output was down by half and even more and even his jab was gone.
    And still Wilder was scared.
And i`m pretty sure if Klitschko decide to return now, Wilder still won`t want to fight him.

I’m definitely going with Haye as well, levels above boxer, and far faster than Wilder with the obvious KO power to go with it.

Think they would both fight cagey for the first few rounds though.

Wilder lands that right hand and gets Haye out of there. Haye was an unbelievable cruiserweight, but he wasn't no holyfield moving up to the heavyweights. Wlad landed the right hand at will even with good head movement, can see Wilder landing just fine.

David Haye wasn't elite. His sloppy skills on the front-foot weren't elite and he never beat another elite. His performance against an old creaky Valeuv was no better than 45 year old Holyfield's.

Wilder would approach Haye like he did Stiverne I - doing very little until he launches a frenzied attack every time Haye's over hand swings leave him off balance.

haye is no elite. He got lamped out at CW by a 40 year old.

I think that he leads Wilder into the late rounds, with Wilder stopping him late.
