Was Crawford being respectful to Spence ? you don't call out an injured guy But why not call out Pacman ? You want to collect as many belts as possible
It makes you look like an ass when you keep calling people out and you don't(can't) fight them. He's doing his job, though, knocking them down as they line them up. I don't remember, but has he ever called someone out? I don't think he did even at '35 and '40.
He is reluctant total out anyone after he got clipped in the 3rd round - but lucky that the ref was stupid enough to call it slip...
I love how people make a big deal about a missed call. A bad call that had zero impact on the outcome of the fight. It's not like the ref stepped in and stopped the action when Kav had him seriously hurt. But hey, if you gotta hate, you gotta hate. You may continue!
Yes, Crawford has called someone out. He said that he wants Pacquiao after he knocked out Gamboa. Take a look in Youtube.
Terrence Bud Crawford is quite a professional, he is not a loudmouth, shows tremendous skills. He is a throwback on how a champion should conduct himself, behave as a confident adult. A mouthy fighter lacks confidence, because he has to assure himself, a quiet fighter let's his dukes do the fighting. Calling people out is for World Wrestling Entertainment, Gorgeous George was the original mouthy entertainer, he was a wrestler from the early 1960's. Muhammad Ali remarked, that he used George's style to sell tickets, by being boastful. Bud has his own style, he had a few anxious moments Saturday night, but he adjusted to score the win. The guy is a credit to his community, a good fight would be against Manny, or Errol Spence, if he should recover. Promoters should promote fights, that is their job, there was only one Ali, being a copy cat is not good for boxing.
He got KD in the 3rd round, Just a fact from my end that you cannot accept. Hey, that's boxing. Keep hugging balls...
Because he knows this is not the WWE. Whether he gets a big fight has a lot more to do with million dollar TV contracts than it does with post fight bravado. EVERYONE knows Bud wants anyone with a belt at 147.
True, but Crawford is a champion, bravado is ruining boxing, it needs to be about prestige as well making money. Promoters should promote, let them make all the annoying talk. I am just voicing my opinion, you are entitled to yours. A lot of people do find mouthiness an act of immaturity, they do turn the sound off on the television. Boxers need to be positive role models, as any athletes. With all due respect.
